Collection: Special Illustration Rare TCG Singles

Special Illustration Rare (SIR) Pokémon TCG singles carry the same extended, full-bleed artwork style as Illustration Rare cards but sit a tier higher, usually as the rarest alternate-art print in a set. This collection covers the SIR singles we have in stock, checked and photographed individually.

Looking for the more common tier instead? See our Illustration Rare collection, or browse our wider Pokémon singles range. Our Pokémon Cards Gold Coast page covers the full category, and if you're selling a collection, see Sell Pokémon Cards Gold Coast.

What is a Special Illustration Rare card?

Special Illustration Rare (SIR) is a higher Pokémon TCG rarity tier using extended artwork, usually the rarest alternate-art print available for a given card in modern sets.

SIR vs IR, what's the difference?

Both use extended, full-bleed art. SIR sits at a higher rarity tier than standard Illustration Rare (IR) and is generally scarcer.

Can I buy these in Carrara or only online?

Both. Everything here is physically held at our Carrara store on the Gold Coast, so you can browse online or look through the binders in person.
