One Piece TCG OP-18 The Dominance of God Australia guide

One Piece TCG OP-18 The Dominance of God: Australian Release Date and What to Chase

One Piece TCG OP-18 The Dominance of God arrives in Australia on 20 November 2026, the same day as the English release worldwide. If you are planning to open boxes or hunting for the set's Secret Rare Saint Shamrock, here is everything confirmed before launch day.

What Is OP-18 The Dominance of God?

OP-18 is the eighteenth main booster set in the One Piece Card Game. The Japanese title is 神の支配 (Shinno Shihai), translated as The Dominance of God. The English release is 20 November 2026, one day before the Japanese launch on 21 November.

The set focuses on two major storylines from the One Piece universe: Water Seven, featuring Galley-La, CP9, and the characters surrounding the Straw Hats' time on that island; and the Holy Knights of God, the World Government's elite faction from the manga's current chapters. Characters from the Baroque Works and Alabasta arc also appear across the Leader pool and Super Rare slots, making this one of the wider-reaching sets in terms of arc coverage.

Each booster pack contains 6 cards. A standard booster box holds 24 packs. The set has 127 card types plus one additional parallel variant.

Leaders Reported for OP-18

Six Leaders have been reported from the Japanese card database ahead of the English release. These are based on pre-release sources and not yet fully confirmed on Bandai's official database, so treat them as likely rather than locked.

Karoo (Red/Blue) represents the Alabasta Resistance. Karoo pairs naturally with Vivi and Robin support already in the game, and the Red/Blue combination opens options across both arcs.

Franky (Green/Purple) is a Water Seven Leader focused on the Franky Family and Galley-La. He comes with a parallel version. Green/Purple is an unusual combination and Franky as a Leader is a rare card, so expect collector demand from One Piece fans to be high.

Monkey D. Luffy (Green) is another Luffy Leader in a new colour, this time Green, likely supporting Water Seven and Galley-La crew members.

Miss All Sunday (Blue) uses Nico Robin's Baroque Works identity as a Leader. Blue Robin Leaders have posted strong competitive results in previous formats, so this card is worth watching from both a player and collector perspective.

Saint Gunko (Purple/Black) is one of two Holy Knight debuts in the set. Saint Gunko is a Senior Commander within the Holy Knights of God, and her Leader card has a parallel version. Holy Knight Leaders are entirely new to the card game with this set.

Spandam (Black/Yellow) rounds out the Leader pool. As the former director of CP9, Spandam connects the Water Seven storyline to the Yellow colour's World Government and Marine support cards.

Chase Cards: What to Hunt

The top reported card in OP-18 is Saint Shamrock (OP18-119), a Secret Rare (SEC) with two parallel versions. Saint Shamrock is one of the twelve Holy Knights of God. SEC cards sit at the top of the One Piece TCG rarity ladder and are typically the signature pull that sets the tone for a set's secondary market. Having two SEC parallels in addition to the base version means three total versions to collect.

Super Rare (SR) cards reported for the set include:

  • Nefeltari Vivi (Red)
  • Nico Robin with super parallel (Green)
  • Franky (Green)
  • Mr.0 and Miss All Sunday on one card (Blue)
  • Mr.1 and Miss Doublefinger on one card (Blue)
  • Iceburg (Purple)
  • Saint Gunko with super parallel (Purple/Black)
  • Saint Gunko (Black)
  • Kalifa (Yellow)
  • Rob Lucci (Yellow)

Rob Lucci and Kalifa as Yellow SRs fits their CP9 roles and gives Yellow players strong Water Seven support. Yellow has been a reliable competitive colour in recent formats, so these cards are likely to draw attention from players and traders once the set launches.

Why Water Seven Collectors Are Paying Attention

Water Seven is one of the most popular arcs in the One Piece story. Characters like Iceburg, Kokoro, Chimney, Gonbe, and the Galley-La shipwrights have had limited card game representation until now. A main set built around them means a proper card pool for those archetypes, which is something players who love that arc have been waiting for.

The Holy Knights angle adds a different kind of interest. These characters are currently active in the manga and their full powers and story roles are still unfolding. Cards tied to ongoing storylines tend to hold collector attention, because the community knows these characters are significant even when the full picture is not yet clear.

Baroque Works characters appearing alongside Water Seven and Holy Knights also creates deckbuilding crossover. Miss All Sunday (Robin) connects both arcs mechanically, and having Crocodile (Mr.0) and Robin on one SR card together is the kind of dual-character card that tends to appeal to collectors beyond just the competitive scene.

Other Products Launching Around OP-18

On the same day as OP-18 (20 November in English), the Gift Collection ONE PIECE Heroines [GC-2026] also releases at US$44.99. This is a premium boxed product with its own exclusive card pool, separate from the main booster set, aimed at collectors focused on the Heroines character roster.

The Mini Case Set Luffy/Shanks/Hancock [TS-03] releases in English around the same window at US$11.99, giving newer players an accessible way to pick up cards and accessories alongside the big booster launch.

When Do OP-18 Cards Become Tournament Legal?

English One Piece TCG cards become tournament legal seven days after the English release date. That means OP-18 cards are legal for competitive play from 27 November 2026. If you are heading to a local event in late November or early December, check with the organiser to confirm which sets are in their card pool.

A ban-list update effective from October 2026 removed OP14-020 Mihawk, including all parallel versions, from legal play. Check the official One Piece Card Game website for the current list before registering for events.
