One Piece Card Game Release Schedule Australia 2026

If you play or collect One Piece Card Game and want to know what is left on the 2026 calendar, here is the confirmed run of OP and EB sets, plus how prerelease events and Bandai's TCG+ system actually work for Australian players.

The main line so far this year

The English release cadence has been running roughly every two months through 2026. OP-14, "The Azure Sea's Seven," released 16 January 2026. Extra Booster EB-03, "Heroine's Edition," followed on 20 February 2026 with 86 cards giving fresh art treatments to older favourites. OP-15, "Adventure on Kami's Island," released 3 April 2026, and OP-16, "The Time of Battle," released 12 June 2026, centred on the Marineford arc with new Leaders including Portgas D. Ace and Buggy.

What is left in 2026

OP-17, "The World's Strongest Warriors," released 28 August 2026 as the anniversary-style set for the game's roughly three and a half year mark, on a single worldwide English date, so Australian stores received it in the same week as the US.

Set Sail Deck Set (SD-01) follows on 18 September 2026. Bandai's product page lists two ready-to-play 51-card constructed decks (Luffy and Ace), one OP-17 booster pack, a two-player playsheet, two guide books and two deck cases. It is the cleanest starting point for a new player who wants to learn the game before the next numbered set.

Illustration Box Vol. 7 and Vol. 8 (IB-07/IB-08) are slated for 31 July 2026, each bundling two OP-15 and two OP-16 booster packs with promo cards, a good way to top up on the last two main sets without chasing full boxes.

Mini Case Set Vol. 3 (TS-03) follows on 30 October 2026, a smaller assorted product with two booster packs and a promo card per set, sold in six varieties.

Extra Booster EB-05, "Heroines Edition Vol. 2," has a Japanese release scheduled for October 2026. As of now there is no confirmed English/Australian date attached to it, so if you see a firm date being quoted anywhere, check it against Bandai's own product page before you plan around it.

Starter decks and smaller releases

Alongside the numbered OP and EB sets, Bandai keeps releasing themed Starter Decks (ST-prefix) and smaller accessory products like Double Pack Sets (DP-prefix) through the year. These are lower stakes than a full booster box; they are aimed at players wanting a ready-to-go 51-card deck rather than collectors chasing chase cards, and they rarely sell out the way a new numbered set does.

Prerelease events

Retailers running One Piece Card Game prereleases typically hold them in the week before a set's street date, giving local players first access to new cards in a sealed, sanctioned event before general release. If you want early access to the next numbered set's cards, watching for prerelease listings in the fortnight before its street date is the way to do it, rather than waiting for the set to hit shelves.

Bandai TCG+ and how events actually work

Bandai runs official One Piece Card Game events, including Regional Championships and Treasure Cups, through its TCG+ platform, and organisers list events there and through Humanitix. As one live example: a Regional Championship ran in Brisbane at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre across 5 to 6 September 2026, organised by TAK Games, described on its listing as one of Oceania's tournament organisers. It was a constructed Swiss event with best-of-one rounds, and players had to submit deck lists electronically through TCG+ in advance. A separate Treasure Cup ran the following weekend in Brisbane too. These bigger events often carry priority ticketing for Oceania residents, with non-residents placed on a waitlist, so if you are planning to travel for one, register the moment tickets open.

For weekly play, local game stores register as TCG+ Corporate Members and run smaller, regular events out of their own space. That store-level structure is also how Bandai's official "where to buy" shop list gets populated: retailers who register events through TCG+ show up in the app's store finder, which is a solid way to check who near you is actively running One Piece Card Game rather than just stocking a few packs on a shelf.

Buying advice for the rest of 2026

Extra Boosters and premium boosters tend to have smaller print runs than main OP sets and have historically sold through faster, so if EB-05 gets an English date, treat pre-ordering it the same way you would a hyped Pokemon ETB. For OP-17, given the anniversary framing, expect Australian allocations to be tighter than a standard numbered set, and expect prerelease tickets to move quickly once retailers list them.
