Pokemon Trading Card Game product at Frenly Bricks, Carrara Markets

This week in collecting: 4 to 18 September 2026

What is landing in the next two weeks across Pokemon TCG, One Piece, LEGO, Funko and Select, plus every South East Queensland collector event we could confirm for the next month. Every date comes from the sources at the bottom. Where nothing has been announced, we say so.

Releases: 4 to 18 September

Pokemon TCG. The big one is the Pokemon 30th Celebration launch wave on Wednesday 16 September. Australian retailer calendars list the Elite Trainer Box, the Pokemon Center ETB, the Sylveon ex and Greninja ex Boxes, the Poster Collection, the Tech Sticker Collection, the 2-Pack Blister and the Knock Out Collection all on that date. The second wave (Booster Bundle, Binder Collection and Mini Tins) follows on 2 October, with Battle Decks on 30 October and the premium collector products on 6 November. One Piece Card Game. OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors released on 28 August, so this fortnight is about the follow-up products. Bandai lists the Set Sail Deck Set [SD-01] for 18 September: two ready-to-play 51-card decks (Luffy and Ace), an OP-17 booster pack, a playsheet, two guide books and two deck cases. No English date has been published for EB-05 Heroines Edition Vol. 2 yet. Our One Piece release schedule has the rest of the year, and One Piece Card Game stock is online.

LEGO. The September wave went live on 1 September and is only just reaching shelves: 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile, 11386 SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, 11385 U.S.S. Enterprise Bridge, 43024 Ayrton Senna Helmet, 71053 Shrek Minifigures, 76345 Doctor Doom Bust, 11383 Mayor Manor and the 2026 Advent Calendars. Nothing further is dated inside the window. On the retiring side, Brick Fanatics' list (updated 31 August) still has 75192 Millennium Falcon, 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank, 10326 Natural History Museum, 21350 Jaws, 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade, 10302 Optimus Prime and 21348 Dungeons & Dragons Red Dragon's Tale flagged for 2026 retirement. Funko. Funko's limited edition calendar has weekly Funko.com drops at 9am Pacific (2am Brisbane the next day): Grid Xenomorph glow from Alien vs. Predator on 8 September, Atom Eve Pink Energy from Invincible on 15 September, then Porcelain Alice on 22 September. Retailer exclusives on the same calendar include a Toy Temple Avatar: The Last Airbender Pop on 6 September and a Target Godzilla Pop on 23 September. These are US drops, so expect them here through importers a few weeks later. Browse Funko Pop.

Select NRL and AFL. Select's 2026 NRL Brilliance box released on 2 September. It is the first NRL Brilliance product: 68 base cards numbered to 75, each in a Card Armour case, plus a Gold Superstars subset and Premiership Captain signature redemptions. Select's new releases page also lists 2026 NRLW Brilliance and AFL Footy Stars but shows no dates, so we cannot confirm anything else inside the window. See AFL cards and trading cards.

Events: next 30 days

Collectorama Fair, Nambour. Saturday 5 September, 7am to 2pm, Nambour Showgrounds, 80 Coronation Avenue. $8 cash entry, kids free. Next sitting 14 November.

One Piece Card Game Brisbane Regional (Oceania). Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September, 9am to 5pm, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, run by TAK Games via Humanitix.

Hunters Card Show, Chandler. Saturday 12 September at the Sleeman Sports Complex Velodrome, then Saturday 26 September as a collab show in the Arena Hall. 9am to 4pm, $10 early bird or $15 door, kids 12 and under free, free parking. Later dates: 17 October, 14 November, 5 December.

BrisBricks BBX2026 LEGO Fan Expo. Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, RNA Exhibition Building, 595 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills. Staggered entry every 30 minutes from 9am, venue closes 4pm both days. Sensory-friendly sessions Saturday 2pm and Sunday 9am. Tickets through TryBooking.

Oz Comic-Con Brisbane. Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, doors 9:30am to 4:30pm, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Not yet announced. Brisbane Card Show's next sitting at Distillery Road Market, Eagleby is 28 and 29 November, outside this window. The Hobby Hangout has no Brisbane date published. Collectors Paradise at PCYC Nerang, TCG Hunters, Cardboard & Collectibles, POKEcon Australia, Supanova Gold Coast, the QLUG Gold Coast Brick Show and a Gold Coast Toy Fair have no dates listed for September or early October.
